Favorite Room in This House:

“The great room, due to the distinctively French details and multiple entertaining options. We’ve been told the fireplace is one of the largest in the Midwest. It was handcrafted out of French limestone and designed by a French stonecutter who lives in Chicago. The skylight was custom designed as well as the wrought iron railings and staircase. Living in a smart home also gives us the flexibility to listen to the grand piano, iPod, and radio throughout the house as well view different TV channels and DVDs by utilizing one remote.”

Meet Your Neighbors:

Naperville couple Bill and Sarah Adamson built their dream French château based on their European travel and art collection. Their combined children—Jason, Ryan, Keith, Christopher, and Kathrine—all attended schools in Naperville District 203, in which Sarah was an elementary school teacher for 25 years.

Favorite Thing About Naperville

“Living on the east side of Naperville near I-355 gives us quick access to both airports and the city of Chicago (35 to 40 minutes), yet we are only minutes from downtown Naperville. The diverse cultures, friendly neighbors, restaurants, movie theaters, library system, park district programs, and superior schools are the main reasons we’ve stayed in the area as long as we have.”
